These micro businesses have lived through the burnout & navigated the brain-clutter to tell the tale

Your friend & wing-woman, Emma.

All my life I have been “the organiser”—it’s an impulse I can’t control.

I’ve been an operations manager, personal assistant, HR executive, recruitment officer, and travel and events coordinator.

These companies were always looking for efficiency. But there was always red tape to navigate, so change was often met with resistance. Which is why I love riding solo—I get to work with people who are eager for change. Creative people that feel the impact of ‘efficient’.

Now, if I’m not locked into building out workflows and automating systems, you’re likely to find me with my fluffy sidekick, Myla walking the hills of the South Downs. Or shivering my nips off, having just cold-dipped at Hove Beach.

I know the systems are in place that let me step away from my desk without worrying I’ve got loads to catch up on when I get back.

 expert in tools like

Working IN your business means the day-to-day stuff, the paperwork that never ends. And working ON your business is the planning stuff, the bigger picture work.

But it’s so easy to find ourselves stuck in the jobs that drag on. Then we have no energy to do the exciting bits to level-up.

What if you never had to get stuck in the shallow tasks again?

Get back to the big picture. Ditch the shallow work to build a business that’s going to last.
